Lodge News for JANUARY 2004

JANUARY MEETING

Dalhousie’s Regular Communication was held on Wednesday, January 14. Bro. Haralambos “G” Kefalas was raised to the Degree of Master Mason by the Hellenic Square & Compass Degree team. Wor. Goulding closed the meeting and the Brethren gathered in the dining hall for the Lodge’s “A Night in Athens.” As the Brethren dined on lamb and string beans, rice pilaf, and other delicacies, they were entertained by a surprise visit from the lovely Middle Eastern dancer Lilya.

Wor. Goulding sent a thank you letter to the team leader, R.W. Stephen Kaloyanides, on behalf of Dalhousie’s Brethren, Officers and himself, extending his sincere and heartfelt thanks to the Hellenic Square and Compass Club for the outstanding Master Mason Degree work performed for our candidate.

Wor. Goulding conveyed particular thanks to Brothers George Anastopoulos, William Antonopoulos, Richard Burgess, David Howard, Alan Koufos, Christom Larsin, Bruce Newman, Nicholas Papadinis, Costa Papadopoulos, George Sarafinas, Peter Stamas, Theodore Vallas, and Stephen Kaloyanides for making the degree work a unique and memorable experience for all in attendance. “We strive for interesting and enjoyable work at Dalhousie,” said Wor. Goulding. “You have given us an excellent example to emulate.”
